Common mistakes to avoid

  1. Submitting several PDF files: a single file is required (except for the LaTeX exception).
  2. Non-compliant referencing method: ÉTS recommends the author-date method, commonly used in engineering.
  3. Missing or incorrect ÉTS logo: the title page must use the official logo.
  4. Missing summaries: both French AND English are required.
  5. Insufficient left margin: 3.81 cm on the left to allow for binding of the thesis or dissertation.
