About Uniformat
Uniformat is a SaaS platform that automatically checks the formatting compliance of theses and dissertations against each Quebec and Canadian university's official template. Administrative teams and students submit a manuscript (Word or LaTeX); Uniformat compares it to the institution's standards and returns a clear compliance report in minutes.
Uniformat is a thesis formatting platform. It is not the construction classification standard "UniFormat" (CSI/CSC, ASTM E1557).
Our mission
Replace manual, line-by-line review of presentation rules with an automatic, auditable check that the institution controls. The rules are not a black box: each university keeps control of its templates, thresholds and exceptions.
