Security & governance

Security, confidentiality and governance

Uniformat is built to fit institutions' operational requirements: access control, document confidentiality, audit trails for checks, and local control over the rules.

Access and identity

Uniformat relies on existing university accounts via SSO. The institution keeps control of access, revocations and authentication policies. There is no new Uniformat password for teams or students to manage.

Document confidentiality

The theses, dissertations and reports analyzed stay confidential. They are never used to train AI models, build an external database, or be reused for any purpose other than the requested check.

File lifecycle

File retention is limited to the processing agreed with the institution. Retention periods, exports and deletion rules can be set according to your internal policies.

Audit trail for checks

Every report lists the rules checked, the gaps found and the items to fix. Teams get a result that is explainable, reproducible and easier to justify if a question or dispute arises.

Institution-controlled rules

Uniformat applies the templates, standards, exceptions and versions approved by the institution. The rules are not locked in a black box: they evolve with your requirements, your faculties and your submission cycles.

Progressive rollout

Rollout can start with one faculty, program or submission type. We integrate existing templates, support teams and adjust the rules before a wider deployment.

Infrastructure

Uniformat is hosted on Google Cloud in Canada. Precise residency, retention and compliance commitments are defined contractually based on the deployment context.

Let's talk about your rollout

We assess your security, governance and submission requirements, then how Uniformat fits your environment.
